A true kiwi kid, I spent my youth riding bikes tied to dogs, sliding down mud banks and building really cool huts. With a shang-eye in one hand and a 50 cent mixture in the other, along with my gang of neighbourhood boys we terrorized the suburban streets and occupied our time blowing up old toys and home made matchstick bridges with Double Happys we got from the dairy back in the day when they still sold them!

Those same boys got me into skateboarding and then the culture consumed me and the art and the music and then board graphics and then really cool sh*t and then I travelled the world entering skateboard comps then crap I need a job, and then study and then skateboarding and then more study, and art and painting and design and then advertising. And then I wound up here. 3 years at RBR crafting my DM skills, 3 years at Lavender* winning awards and 3 years at Y&R adding to my life experiences working on a dairy farm in South Taranaki, as a building labourer for my Dad, doing an engineering course, packaging designer out west and wandering the streets of NYC for a few months. Yeah, I’m a chick and I know lots of boy stuff!

Now my body hurts, I need a desk job that still allows me to imagine cool things every day and pay off my hot rod. I still like to travel, take in underground cultures and watch new art movements emerge. I want to apply that to advertising ideas because we don’t do it enough. I hope to work for some brave clients that want something a lot different. I hate the mundane and I’m bored easily. I can’t wait to get out there and explore new ideas and make you famous. I want to make sure the work I create is effective too. I’m a nerd for results. It’s important to me that ideas are working so let’s get together and make something rad!
