There are two reasons why I got into advertising. The first was because the advertising major at the end of my degree required I only buy paper and pens, the second was it just seemed like bloody good fun.

I’ve been in this exciting and rewarding industry for 5 years now and have learnt from a long line of creative leaders including Richard Maddocks, Steve Cochran, Andy Blood, Craig Whitehead and Craig Pethybridge. Having been exposed to these guys, who cover all facets of advertising, has enabled me to effectively navigate the gap between traditional and new media communications.

I feel totally at ease practicing my craft of art direction whether that be in brand, retail or digital. I’m an experienced “ideas driven” creative with a no nonsense approach. I like to just get a brief and dive straight in, of course with a few laughs along the way.

Whether it be riding a cartoon bus, throwing a polystyrene car like the Hulk or circumnavigating the wonders of Perth on Google streetview, it’s obvious looking at my style of work that I really like to give you ideas your audience can genuinely interact with. So if you are looking for concepts that capture you, make you laugh or just get straight to the point, I’m your man.
