Fashion, music, film, travel, youth stuff.
Profiles & features – interviews.
Web – copy, concepts, editing, proofing.
I like the content to speak for itself. Indeed, I think the best writing is the sort you don’t notice – it should sound like an informative, unpretentious friend is explaining something to you. Without stating the obvious, I like words – accurate, efficient, interesting and well-crafted.
But that doesn’t mean boring. My writing is fresh, young and clear – not wallowing in heavy prose or overworked at all.
As a 24 year old, I’m constantly working with the web and social networking, Twitter, blogs. I love creating genuinely interesting and valuable content for those mediums.

Creating exciting and endearing copy and headlines for Glassons instore, windows and bi-seasonal online lookbooks.

The Department Store
I write, edit and organise the production, liasing with designer Brogen Averill, photographers and stakeholders, of the seasonal print publication for this high-end boutique in Takapuna, Auckland. It stocks Karen Walker, Topshop and more.

Stolen Rum website
I was responsible for writing and editing the site, creative directing content and liaising with photographers as well as ongoing maintenance of the content.

.99 (various)
At .99 I worked for several months as the senior copywriter for Farmers, creating DM, TVC and radio commercials as well as creative copy for seasonal campaigns. More recently I worked across clients including Carters, Westpac and Air New Zealand, predominantly long copy and web, but also press ads and internal communications campaigns.

Ten Wylde Street (Web)
This luxury property development is in the heart of Sydney suburb Potts Point. Geared towards young, creative professionals, I wrote and edited the web copy – as well as a hard-cover book for agents to use as a sales tool.

Roxy (Web)
I can’t surf, but I did write and edit the copy for the new ROXY website. The global brand needed a fresh, clear spiel for customers to learn about their latest products and events.

Russh (Print)
As the features writer for this cult Australian fashion magazine, I wrote pieces on everything from the interaction between literature and fashion to lingerie. RUSSH has an irreverent, informed and intelligent take on fashion.
