Title: Prohibition Restaurant Ad

Prohibition a reasonably new player in the highly competitive Ponsonby scene offering a very unique dining experience. A 1920’s themed eatery that takes you back ninety years in time the instant you walk through their doors. This full page magazine ad needed to reflect the roaring twenties underground gangster feel, yet appeal to the readership of the New Zealand INVESTOR magazine in which it appears – therefore the headline – INVEST in your taste buds.

Title: NZ INVESTOR magazine (monthly)
Software: InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop.
Industry: Finance
Medium: Print.
Have been doing the layout of this magazine since May 2010 and find it extremely challenging and exciting. It’s 60 pages need to be laid out from scratch within one week and there can be no mistakes. I was commissioned to do a new layout template in April 2010 and managed to land the entire job. I design the cover right through to the back page and work closely with the editor. I also design full page ads when needed. I would love to do one more more monthly magazine – the hunt for the right one is on!
