At The Pond we know you don't need the 'heavy artillery' on every job (because you told us). So we've structured our offering to give you even more options.
Creative consultants generally have at least 15 years experience. These are the experts with the opinions to be influential. Creatively and strategically astute, they possess the leadership skills to manage projects and people.
By comparison, senior contract creatives are craftsmen who have been in the game for more than 10 years and know how to get the job done.
While mid-weight contract creatives are business-minded up-and-comers with a fresh, youthful approach (minimum 5 years experience).
If you're not sure which one you need, have a yarn to us. That’s our job.
We encourage all our creatives to be multi-talented. However, some creatives fall into the specialist category given their sheer weight of expertise. When we think 'specialist' we think of creatives like:
Hadleigh Averill an art director who also specialises in guerilla advertising, after stints at high profile guerilla shops in Europe;
Matt Campbell a design consultant who specialises in online infotainment—he headed the digital dept at BBH (New York); and
Ollie Langridge a writer who has directed more than 100 commercials.
We also have a team of specialty writers who have the savvy to take a brief and spot any holes in the strategy. Better still, they are all completely different in terms of style, personality, interests, knowledge and experience. So chances are at least one of them will be geared to your line of work.
We spend a lot of time exploring different combinations in order for teams to hit the ground running (rather than each other) on assignments. By matching creatives in interesting ways—for example, designer with designers, youth with experience and cynics with optimists—we can make your budget work and attack projects from fresh angles too.
